「全州（チョンジュ）ビビンバ祭り」は、韓国の代表料理である全州ビビンバを中心に、味・粋・楽しさの三拍子が揃った料理文化祭りです。ビビンバの名所、全州で繰り広げられる祭りを通して、さまざまなものを混ぜるという意味の「ビビン」文化の味と風情を満喫できます。

      [Programs]
      安東河回村は、ユネスコ世界文化遺産に指定されている韓国の代表的な伝統村だ。ここで約800年前から伝わる河回別神グッ仮面劇は、小正月や新年に村の安泰や豊作を祈願する儀式で、村の守り神であるソナン神を楽しませようとする仮面劇から始まった。

      「河回別神グッ仮面劇」は、舞童の場、住持の場、白丁の場など全8場で構成される。花嫁の仮面をつけた役者が他の役者の肩の上に立って登場し、住持僧、白丁、老婆など、様々な階層の人物がそれぞれの仮面をかぶって順番に舞台に上がり、ストーリーを展開する。観客は役者たちの生き生きとした演技、楽しいプンムルのリズム、ダイナミックな踊りとともに、笑いと感動でいっぱいの祭典を満喫する。「河回別神グッ仮面劇」は現在、河回村仮面劇公演場で常設公演として観ることができる。

      「河回別神グッ仮面劇」のポイントは、鋭いユーモアと風刺。特に朝鮮時代には両班社会の偽善と不条理を赤裸々に暴き、民衆を大いに楽しませるとともに癒しを提供した。こうした普遍的な平等の価値と社会身分制度に対する批判が今日でも有効であることが認められ、2022年にはユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録された。
